Chris Chiesa

Mr. Chiesa is Deputy Executive Director and Chief Information Officer at Pacific Disaster Center. He is responsible for geospatial data acquisition, management, analysis and value-added information development activities at PDC. He has over 20 years experience developing and managing enterprise product and service applications of geospatial information technologies and has been actively involved in Disaster Management activities in the Asia Pacific. He has been responsible for development of a series of GIS-based “Natural Hazards and Vulnerabilities Atlases,” “Global Edition” which was released early in 2009, and the PDC-hosted DM geospatial information sharing service, the “Global Hazards Information Network.”
