JP Velders

JP works for the University of Amsterdam, and has been assigned to the System & Network Engineering group where he is involved both with the networking research and educational sides of the group. Additionally, he is also a member of the SURFcert kernel, the coordinating CSIRT for SURFnet. Some of his very mixed areas of wide interest include next and future generation networking and all its hurdles, ICT and real-world architecture, abuse handling, spam, constituency, CSIRT and vendor education, and above all, good netizenship by adhering to RFC's and some of the unwritten rules of the Internet.
