Toby Rodwell

Toby Rodwell studied Electronic Engineering at the University of Nottingham. After graduating, Toby served in the Royal Navy, leaving in 2001 to start a career in IT and telecommunications. Having qualified as a CCNP, he joined the network team of a Cambridge-based software development company.

Toby joined DANTE in June 2003 as a network engineer in the operations team, and went on to lead Service Activity 3 of the GÉANT2 project ("Support for Multi-domain Services"). In July 2008 he was appointed as the manager of DANTE's new NOC which was being set up to serve the GÉANT and EUMEDCONNECT networks.
