The speakers' reception was hosted by the University of Málaga in one of its historical buildings, with drinks and light snacks.
The Rector's Office was built in 1923 and used until 1986 as Málaga's Post and Telegraph Office. Although its functionality was the top consideration for the designer, Teodoro de Anasagasti, he created a decorative and valued architectural landmark in Neo-Mudejar style. The building's rounded corners include small, circular towers. The tower on the left-hand side of the main façade is higher than the rest and has a lean-to roof that gives a certain oriental appearance. The building is in the city centre and has a magnificent view of the sea and of Gilbralfaro castle.
